Pathways to Invasion Conference at Fort Ticonderoga July 12-14th: This is a two day event at the historic fort. It is open to all educators in the state. It is mostly free of cost, except for travel and dinners. It will feature many activities and lessons, including a cruise on Lake Champlain and a cannon firing demonstration. The focus will be on the geography of the region and how it affects the history of colonial warfare and the ecology of the lakes today.
